1.6 mm spherical gamma‑alumina support

Product Introduction:

1.6 mm spherical gamma‑alumina support is white spherical beads manufactured from high pseudoboehmite via oil‑ammonia column dropping ball forming and high temperature calcination. It serves as critical catalyst substrate for petrochemical CCR (Continuous Catalytic Reforming) and PDH (Propane Dehydrogenation) moving‑bed processes. With high sphericity and narrow particle‑size distribution, this carrier is engineered for UOP Oleflex and CCR continuous reforming units. It is suitable for impregnation of Pt, Sn precious metals to withstand long‑term cyclic regeneration conditions.

Key Features:

1. Well‑formed spherical beads: 1.6 mm uniform spheres. Uniform voidage inside moving‑bed reactor, stable pressure drop, minimizing channeling and equipment abrasion.

2. Tailored porous structure: Stable γ‑alumina phase, adjustable surface area, pore volume and pore size. Well‑developed mesoporous network enables fine dispersion of active metals, improves mass transfer for reactants & products and reduces coke formation.

3. High mechanical strength & low attrition: High crush strength and low wear rate. Resist crushing and powdering during moving‑bed transportation & repeated regeneration cycles, prevent pipeline blockage and extend catalyst service life.

4. Low impurity content: Strictly controlled Na₂O, Fe, Si impurities. Prevent precious‑metal poisoning and sintering, secure high selectivity for reforming & dehydrogenation reactions.

5. Excellent thermal & hydrothermal stability: Tolerate repeated high‑temperature oxidation‑reduction cycles during continuous regeneration. Pore structure and surface area maintain well after multiple regenerations.

Main Applications:

1. CCR‑Continuous Catalytic Reforming
Support for Pt‑Re reforming catalyst in moving‑bed units. Applied for naphtha reforming to produce high‑octane gasoline and aromatics, matching UOP CCR continuous regeneration process.

2. PDH‑Propane Dehydrogenation
Support for Pt‑Sn catalyst for propane‑to‑propylene production. Designed for UOP Oleflex moving‑bed PDH process under cyclic regeneration service.
